Wisconsin Flash was established to provide talented student athletes with quality instruction, fundamental teaching, competition, exposure, great teammates, and a unique "family" atmosphere outside of their school basketball programs. This is coupled with a commitment to making a difference in the community through events and several acts of community service.
Wisconsin Flash also emphasizes the importance of a strong Middle and High School education which can hopefully lead to a desire to attend and graduate from College. It is the mission of Wisconsin Flash to treat our student athletes as students first working to build strong students as well as athletes. The overall goal is for our student athletes to be prepared to compete in life as well as athletics.
Wisconsin Flash program has homework assistance available for but not limited to at risk and/or troubled students. It is the goal of the Wisconsin Flash staff to assist the students in our program as well as our community in achieving a minimum 2.5 GPA.
Wisconsin Flash in the Community is the area in which our participants commit acts of service within the community. This is a requirement for participation in the program. Things like community clean ups, visits to senior centers and/or day cares and events and/or fund raisers promoting awareness for a cause. It is our goal to be a strong positive influence/presence in our community and beyond.
Wisconsin Flash Basketball is year round with training sessions throughout the Fall and Winter and begins travelling competition in the Spring with strong, competitive teams and provides each team with local and national tournament exposure. These basketball tournaments are opportunities for some of the most talented student-athletes of Wisconsin to compete against the very best competition in the country.
The basketball program is made up of boys from throughout the state of Wisconsin. Wisconsin Flash will field boy’s basketball teams (grades 4th-11th). We are currently looking to add a girls’ basketball as well as a girl’s cheerleading program that will participate in camps and competitions.
Wisconsin Flash is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization. Donations to the program are used to help with the purchasing of program materials, minimize traveling expenses for athletes and to help pay for tournament entry fees as well as operating expenses.
